  • Working with various teams to identify opportunities to improve the accuracy and serviceability of meters.
  • Coordinating, tracking, and reporting the progress of the regulatory meter verification programme (comprising of over 1200 individual assets) by third-party contractors, along with other regulatory logging programmes.
  • Keep all information on our asset estate up to date in preparation for annual OFWAT audits.
  • Liaising with the System Optimisation, Leakage Optimisation and Production Teams alike to raise APS risks, which assists with funding for meter replacements.
  • Liaise with the planning and scheduling team for ICA technicians to assist with process meter verifications and repairs.
  • React to site issues in the verification plan, find solutions or escalate to relevant team managers to resolve and reduce the number of aborts.
  • Track progress, update reports, and Power BI dashboards every week for zonal meters, critical pressure points and regulatory meter verifications.
  • Present workflow updates on weekly performance calls to senior management.
  • Compiling monthly performance reports across all workstreams.
To thrive in this role, the essential criteria you’ll need are:
  • Proven advanced proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite, in particular MS Excel formulas, lookups and managing large databases.
  • An analytical and logical mindset with experience identifying trends in data to drive performance improvements and process maps.
  • Strong coordination experience with the ability to export data across multiple systems.
  • The ability to identify and react to problems quickly and efficiently.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team but also take ownership to complete tasks independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, as this role will provide great opportunities to work across multiple divisions within the business and develop strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
What’s in it for you?
  • Offering a salary up to £35,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
  • Annual Leave: 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays).
