Cylinder Operative (6-Month Contract)

🕒 Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm

💷 £17.18 per hour


We’re looking for a Cylinder Operative to join our team in Morden on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting on-site production and ensuring our cylinder gases continue to keep the world productive every day

You’ll be working at the forefront of our operations, helping to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.





The Role

This position focuses on labour-based tasks to support production teams in carrying out their core responsibilities.

Key duties include:

• Laminating certificates

• Capping cylinders

• Labelling products

• Shrink-wrapping valves

• Carrying out other similar non-technical operational tasks

• Inspecting cylinders post-fill and sealing them in line with production requirements

• Completing documentation and routine daily tasks as instructed

• Identifying and managing cylinders requiring maintenance

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

There will be an element of manual handling involved. Full training and appropriate equipment will be provided to ensure you can carry out your duties safely.
