Warehouse Operative

Location: Kidderminster
Shift: Monday - Thursday 08:30am - 17:00pm Friday 07:00am - 15:00pm
Salary: £11.44 p/hr
Contract: Temp - Perm

Pertemps Industrial are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for their client based in Kidderminster. Working on a static day shift in a state-of-the-art facility, the role will involve assembling products by hand, picking and packing orders and assisting with the general upkeep of the warehouse.

The Duties of a Warehouse Operative:

• Assemble / re-work products following customer specification
• Quality checking of products prior to dispatch to customer
• Picking and Packing items
• Moving stock to the correct location
• Unloading containers
• Sweeping and general upkeep of the warehouse

The Requirements of a Warehouse Operative:

• Have previous experience of working in a warehousing environment
• Have some assembly experience although not essential
• Ensure pick rate is high and mistakes are minimal
• Have an excellent timekeeping & attendance
• The warehouse can be cold during winter months
• Physical work required, manoeuvring items up to 15kg
• Required to assist with cleaning of the warehouse
