Job Description

Pertemps are are seeking to appoint a Ledger Clerk with extensive experience in Sage 50 accounting and payroll software on FTC. The ideal candidate will manage the nominal, payroll, and purchase ledgers, playing a vital role in the company's operations. This position is for a 6-month period to cover a staff member's leave of absence, with induction provided by the departing staff member.

Responsibilities:
Accurately process purchase invoices and record them in Sage 50 accounting software.
Maintain and reconcile the purchase ledger.
Address and resolve invoice discrepancies with suppliers promptly.
Assist in preparing monthly accounts payable reports.
Manage the Nominal Ledger.
Oversee the Payroll ledger.

Qualifications:
AAT Level 3
In-depth knowledge of Sage 50 Nominal, Payroll, and Purchase Ledger software.
Proven experience in similar roles.
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
