 Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Senior Driving Consultant to join our successful and growing team in our Newcastle upon Tyne office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated recruitment professional with a passion for the driving sector to take the next step in their career.

 
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE) + excellent bonus and benefits

 
The Role 
As a Senior Driving Consultant, you will play a key role in developing and managing your own desk, specialising in the recruitment of HGV drivers across a range of clients. You will be responsible for delivering a first-class recruitment service while building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.

 
Key Responsibilities 

• Building, developing and managing a profitable driving recruitment desk
  
  
• Recruiting, onboarding and managing HGV drivers
  
  
• Proactively winning new business and maintaining existing client relationships
  
  
• Managing the full recruitment lifecycle – from advertising and interviewing to placement and aftercare
  
  
• Ensuring compliance with driving regulations and recruitment standards
  
  
• Providing an exceptional service to both clients and candidates
  
  

 
About You 

• Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within driving, logistics or industrial sectors
  
  
• Strong knowledge of HGV driver recruitment and compliance
  
  
• A confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
  
  
• Target-driven, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  
  
• Passionate about delivering high-quality service and results
