We are recruiting for an experienced hospitality or customer service representative to join the team of a busy hotel close to the center of Derby. You will be joining the nights operation to assist the manager in looking after the hotels guests, from looking after the reception desk, providing food and beverage support and general housekeeping.

 

This role is offered initially on a temporary basis however permanent contract may be offered after qualifying time period  

 

Duties include:

 

• Greeting and late arrivals and getting guests checked in, and shown to their room.
  
  
• Providing information to guests regarding services ands the local area
  
  
• Answering the phone for internal and external queries
  
  
• Keeping the online management system up to date
  
  
• Helping serve food and drinks
  
  
• Keeping all front of house areas clean and tidy
  
  

 

What we're looking for 

• Experience in a similar role in either a hotel would be preferable.
  
  
• Experience in a relevant customer facing role is essential. 
  
  
• Ability to use own initiative to help guests and manage own workload whilst on shift.
  
  
• Good knowledge of local area
  
  
• Fluent English written and verbal
  
  
• Friendly and reliable
