About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Project Administrator to support our busy office and Estimating Team. This is a key administrative role within a dynamic environment, requiring excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will play an integral part in keeping projects running efficiently by providing robust administrative support across various stages of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Raise purchase orders and compile sub-contract order documentation
  • Log, print, and issue project drawing revisions; upload and manage drawings
  • Assist in preparing Health and Safety documentation
  • Requesting up to date insurances from subcontractors
  • Setting up new supplier / Subcontractors / Labour only Subcontractors (asking them to complete our set up forms and forwarding this to the relevant person
  • Communicate confidently across all levels, in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of both electronic and manual systems
  • Undertake general administrative tasks including data entry, correspondence, document preparation, filing, scanning, and archiving
  • Carry out any other administrative duties appropriate to the role
  • Helping with Fleet – booking in services, arranging any garage bookings
  • Setting up new projects on an internal system
  • Logging new tenders, adding them to the estimating tracker
  • Sending the tender submission letter out to the relevant contractors
  • Keeping the training matrix up to date and upload training certificates any HR duties 
  • Assisting the project Managers with filling & H&S plans if required
  • Yearly fire Risk assessments 


Experience & Knowledge/Skills
  • Proven experience working in a busy office environment
  • Must be a strong Team player
  • Strong general administration background who is adaptable and flexible
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience prioritising tasks and managing time effectively
Offering a stable growing company with free parking and close to good transport links. Hours of work would be 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday with company pension and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
