Materials Handler

Location: Stourport-on-Severn
Hours: 07:00 – 16:00 / Early finish Friday
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
 
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Materials Handler on behalf of out client based in Stourport.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe movement of stock and materials within the warehouse/production environment.
 
The duties of a Materials Handler:
 

• Safely operating a forklift truck to move materials.

• Loading and unloading deliveries.

• Transporting raw materials, finished goods, and stock across the site.

• Manual handling where required.

• Completing relevant paperwork and maintaining accurate stock records.

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.

 
 
The requirements of a Materials Handler:
 

• Valid Forklift Licence – Counterbalance and/or Reach.

• Previous warehouse, logistics or production experience desirable.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

• Must adhere to Health and Safety and all times
