Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Kensington and Chelsea. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers across various departments, providing academic support, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons across multiple subjects.
  • Offer one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them overcome academic challenges and develop confidence.
  • Assist in preparing classroom materials and resources to enhance the learning experience.
  • Support classroom management, contributing to a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
  • Guide students in developing effective study skills, building self-confidence, and fostering a genuine love for learning.
  • Provide constructive feedback on student progress and support the reporting process.
  • Participate in school events and assist with extracurricular activities, contributing to the broader school community.
Essential Requirements:
  • A recent graduate with a strong academic record.
  • A genuine passion for education and a strong interest in pursuing a teaching career.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect well with students and staff.
  • Strong organizational abilities and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • A proactive and positive approach, with a strong team orientation and a willingness to contribute ideas.
  • Experience working with young people, in either a paid or voluntary capacity, is desirable.
