The Role You will take full responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons
• Creating a stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and independence
• Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress
• Supporting pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND and EAL
• Managing behaviour positively in line with school policy
• Working collaboratively with year group partners and support staff
• Building strong relationships with parents and carers

The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
• Has experience teaching in KS2, ideally Upper KS2 or Year 4
• Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
• Delivers engaging, inclusive lessons that support all learners
• Has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
• Is reflective, organised, and committed to professional development
• Works well as part of a team and contributes to school life
