Job Description

Role: IT Project Manager
Location: Birmingham (3 Days In-Office Weekly)
Duration: : 24 Month Fixed-Term
Salary: £46,735 - £55,755
We are looking for an exceptional IT Project Manager to join a fantastic, long-term client who are undertaking a company-wide programme to overhaul and simplify their fundamental service processes, as well as upgrading their central, modularised application to deliver a more functional and flexible system for users at all levels.
This opportunity will require you to be on-site at their Central Birmingham office, 3 days a week.
Role
Reporting to the programme’s senior management, you’ll spearhead the development and management of the programme timeline outlining various software releases, whilst also encouraging strong levels of user engagement, IT literacy development and implementation into their daily use of the system during the project implementation.
Experience
The successful candidate for this opportunity will be someone who has proven, demonstrable experience juggling multiple projects in a complex, dynamic environment. Therefore, someone who adheres to both internal policies for standardisation and external project management frameworks (e.g. Prince2) in everything they do will stand out. This includes curating detailed project plans to provide access to the wider programme team and present updates at regular management meetings.
Whilst this programme is fundamentally focused on updating and modernising their service processes, all processes that interact with and is managed by the centralised application. Therefore, someone who is competent in supporting modularised applications as a Project Manager is critical, and if you have overseen periodic software releases will be even more desirable. Each module will have different use cases that support the responsibilities of individual departments, so fantastic stakeholder communication is paramount.
