We are currently recruiting for an experienced Punch Press Setter to join a busy production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in metal fabrication or precision engineering to work in a well-established and supportive environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate mechanical or hydraulic punch press machines
• Install and align dies, punches, and tooling to exact specifications
• Carry out first-off and in-process quality checks
• Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Work from technical drawings and production schedules
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with H&S standards

 
Requirements

• Proven experience setting and operating punch press machinery
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good understanding of sheet metal processes and materials
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Forklift or overhead crane experience (desirable but not essential)
