Job Title: Locum Occupational Therapist – Locality-Based Multi-Disciplinary Team
Location:  Redbridge, Greater London
Pay Rate: £40.73 Per hour
Contract Type: Locum
Hours: Full-time preferred (flexible options considered)
Start Date: ASAP
Caseload: Approx. 4 cases per week (mix of complex and standard)

Key Responsibilities:

• Specialist Knowledge & Clinical Skills
  Apply advanced Occupational Therapy knowledge in specialist seating, manual handling, and both simple and complex home adaptations. 
• Holistic Assessment & Support Planning
  Conduct thorough, person-centred assessments and reviews tailored to individuals with a range of physical, cognitive, and mental health needs.
• Legal & Legislative Application
  Demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant social care frameworks and housing legislation in daily practice.
• Effective Case Management
  Independently manage and progress complex caseloads, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
• Equipment Provision & Training
  Assess for and recommend a wide range of equipment. Deliver training to ensure safe, effective use in line with best practice and policy.

Requirements:

• Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC registration (essential)
• Proven experience within a multi-disciplinary team setting
• Strong background in specialist equipment, manual handling, and complex adaptations
• Excellent workload management and prioritisation skills
• Sound understanding of legal frameworks in social care and housing
