Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Wokingham Borough Council
Pay Rate: £36.91 per hour
Contract Type: Locum (Full-time) Hybrid working 

Pertemps Social Care is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join Wokingham Borough Council on a locum basis. This role is focused on supporting the management of the OT waiting list and delivering high-quality, person-centred assessments and interventions across the adult social care service.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting functional OT assessments
• Completing moving and handling assessments
• Supporting with reablement and reduced care reviews
• Advising on and facilitating minor adaptations
• Demonstrating knowledge and experience of the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) process

Requirements:

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
• Proven experience in adult social care settings
• Strong assessment and report-writing skills
• Ability to manage a caseload independently
• Experience with reablement, manual handling, and home adaptations
