Pertemps are working in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council to recruit an experienced EHC Co-Ordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in supporting children and young people with SEND, ensuring their Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans deliver the best outcomes possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and secure the highest standards of achievement and inclusion for children and young people with SEND, with a strong focus on preparing for adulthood from the earliest stages.
  • Provide clear, accessible information for parents, children, young people, and schools, ensuring they are fully informed and supported.
  • Manage and process statutory casework within legal and internal timelines.
  • Hold responsibility for a dedicated caseload, which may include:
    • Pre-14 Reviews: Monitoring children with EHC plans, attending review meetings, amending plans, and responding to reassessments or placement changes.
    • Post-14 Reviews: Monitoring young people aged 14+, focusing on preparation for adulthood, managing the cease process where appropriate, and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Work collaboratively with education, health, and care professionals to ensure effective case management and integrated practice.
  • Contribute to resource and funding decisions, supporting high-quality, evidence-based outcomes for children and young people.
About You:
✔ Experienced in SEND casework and EHCP processes
✔ Strong understanding of SEND legislation and statutory duties
✔ Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a complex caseload
✔ Confident in liaising with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals
✔ Able to work proactively, with a focus on outcomes and inclusion
📩 This role offers remote working, but you will need to attend the office for meetings when required.
