Occupational Therapist – Disabilities Early Intervention & Prevention Services
📍 Location: Conwy
💷 Pay Rate: £26.22 per hour
🕒 Hours: 23 hours per week (days negotiable)
🏡 Working Arrangement: Hybrid – office-based at Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay, with home working available after initial training
📅 Contract Length: Approx. 12 weeks | Start Date: Immediate

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Early Intervention & Prevention (EIP) Team in Conwy.

The EIP Team provides short-term, outcome-focused interventions that help individuals and families build resilience and manage their daily lives more effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a direct Occupational Therapy service to people with disabilities
• Work closely with parents, carers, and families to provide support and develop resilience
• Complete screening assessments and make recommendations for appropriate responses to need
• Undertake safeguarding activity where required
• Ensure service users and their families are fully involved in decision-making and outcome planning

Requirements:

• Qualified Occupational Therapist – minimum 3 years post-qualified
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Confident using technology and software systems
• Manual Handling training and experience
