Working Hours:
 
Role 1: 5am – 12pm, Monday to Friday
Role 2: 11am – 6pm, Monday to Friday
 
Pay rate: up to £18.81 per hour
 
Job Description:
 
Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of Royal Mail for drivers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s most trusted organisations, playing a vital role in ensuring mail and parcels are delivered safely and efficiently across the local region from one delivery depo office to another.
 
Your Role:

• Drive a 3.5t vehicle, ensuring timely and secure deliveries of high-value and sensitive items
• Follow scheduled routes of sometimes long-distance driving and respond to any delivery changes quickly and professionally
• Load and unload consignments with care and attention
• Provide exceptional customer service on every route
• Complete all necessary documentation and maintain accurate records

 
Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Proven experience in multi-drop or secure delivery work preferred
• Ability to pass enhanced security vetting, including DBS checks and a credit check
• A positive, can-do attitude and a strong sense of responsibility
