Job Description

Vox Consultants are hiring for a Senior Design and Conservation Officer for a Local Authority based in the Southwest area.
Please note, this is a Contract opportunity.

You will be:

Providing Senior Level place making urban design and historic environment expertise to support the delivery of the council’s functions.
Providing solutions-based advice on major development proposals.
Providing advice on complex heritage matters.
Contributing to relevant policy creation.
Supervising junior officers and supporting the Team Manager.

Essentials:

A Degree in Planning/ Designing or a related field.
Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or eligibility for membership.
Strong working knowledge of UK Planning Laws and Regulations.
Relevant UK work experience.
Experience of supporting decision makers.
