Job Description
This school has fantastic facilities and you will work closely with experienced teachers to ensure that every child gets the most out of each day. Classes are of no more than 8 children with a range of needs and you will be working alongside a minimum of one other Classroom Assistant, with many students having additional 1-2-1 support. This role requires experience supporting children or young adults with additional needs, and a level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
Job Role:
- Supporting challenging behaviours in small classes of KS3 students
- Working as a Teaching Assistant / Classroom Assistant
- Acting as a positive role model for students
- Delivering 1-2-1 intervention sessions focused on communication and behaviours
- Helping students to reengage with education
- A long-term role as a Teaching Assistant
