Job Role:

• Teaching a small class of primary-aged pupils with special educational needs.
• Creating individualised education plans (IEPs) tailored to each pupil's specific needs and abilities.
• Implementing creative and engaging teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Using a range of specialised resources and equipment to support pupil learning and development.
• Collaborating with support staff, therapists, and parents to provide a holistic approach to education.
• Assessing pupil progress and providing regular feedback to pupils, parents, and the school's leadership team.
• Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in special education.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with pupils with special educational needs.
• Strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support pupils with complex needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Resilience, patience, and adaptability in responding to the unique challenges of special education.
• Knowledge of current educational practices and legislation related to special educational needs.
