Job Description

This wonderful SEMH school is looking to add an experienced Teaching Assistant to the team to support primary aged children on a 1-2-1 and small group basis. As a Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be supporting the class teacher in managing behaviours and supporting the varied needs of pupils.
This role requires previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, LSA, or Behaviour Mentor, supporting children who have SEMH needs. Job Role:
- Providing tailored support for a child with SEMH needs.
- Working closely with an experienced team of teaching assistants to provide the best possible support.
- Understanding a range of SEMH and Special Educational Needs.
- Supporting the child on a 1-2-1 basis, delivering intervention where required.
- Managing behaviours, helping the child to engage with lessons.
- Recording progress of the child and reporting to the SENCO.
- Receive outstanding support from an experienced SENCO and team of teaching assistants.
