We are looking for a skilled and motivated professional to join Enfield’s Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) as a Family Information and Advice Officer.  
This is a fast-paced and high-impact role within a well-established team committed to safeguarding children and supporting families.  
Please note: Applicants must have previous experience working within Children’s Services.  
About the Role Enfield MASH is the single point of contact for referrals into our Early Help and Children’s Social Care services. We work in close collaboration with a range of co-located partner agencies to assess risk, share information, and make timely decisions that ensure children receive the right support at the right time. This role demands the ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, meeting strict MASH timescales while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism. You will need excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a confident approach to multi-agency working. Key Responsibilities • Conduct MASH enquiries in partnership with Social Workers and other professionals, ensuring timely and proportionate responses. • Provide feedback to referrers and share information appropriately in line with GDPR and Working Together 2023. • Offer advice and guidance on services and resources available to support children and families. • Maintain accurate records and contribute to management reporting. • Liaise closely with internal and external partners to deliver a coordinated multi-agency response. This is a locum contract paying £23.65 per hour.
