Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager for a Local Authority Homeless Hub, in North London. 
You will need to have experience in a similar role in a Local Authority Housing setting. 
Role Purpose 
  • As a Deputy Manager you will be responsible for the smooth day to day management of single homeless Hub, Mulberry Junction, providing innovative and effective management. 
  • Mulberry Junction comprises of a multi-disciplinary team work to deliver a co-produced and psychologically informed support service to prevent and tackle homelessness.  
  • This role will be varied, community facing, fast paced and outcomes focussed.  
  • The service provides a trauma-informed and person-centred environment where people can access housing and homelessness advice and assessment, health and wellbeing support and opportunities to learn skills and access peer support.   
  • You will deliver line- management support and supervision, outcome monitoring and team development. 
  • The role will contribute actively to delivery of the Council’s Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategies by supporting people to secure and sustain positive housing, health, and community outcomes.  
  • To achieve this, you will empower your team and guests to access harm minimisation, primary health care, access benefits and immigration support.  
  • You will also be working in partnership with a multi-disciplinary team of statutory and voluntary services and practitioners to ensure people accommodated achieve positive health, housing, and social outcomes.
