A welcoming and inclusive mainstream school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide essential support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a structured and nurturing environment. 
 
Role Overview 

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant 

• Location: Enfield 

• Start Date: Immediate

• Salary: £105 - £110 per day (dependent on experience) 

 
The ideal candidate will: 

• Have experience working with children with SEN, including ASD, SEMH, and Speech & Language needs  

• Be patient, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with students 

• Be confident in supporting students with communication challenges and emotional regulation 

• Work well within a collaborative team, including teachers, SENCOs, and therapists 

• Have a proactive and creative approach to engaging students in learning 

 
Your Responsibilities: 

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with additional needs 

• Assist in implementing tailored learning plans to support student progress 

• Help create a safe and structured environment for students to thrive 

• Support students in developing social skills, confidence, and independence 

• Work alongside teachers and specialists to deliver engaging and accessible lessons
