Early Years Educator – Croydon – Summer Term Start 
 
Pertemps Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Croydon for the summer term. This part-time position is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood development and supporting young learners at the start of their educational journey. 
 
Location: Croydon 
Start Date: Summer Term 
Contract: Part-Time, 2-3 days a week 
Interview Date: ASAP 
Salary: £105.00 - £110.00 per day (dependent on experience) 
 
About the Role: 

• Support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) within a mainstream primary school setting. 

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework. 

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and early learning. 

• Observe and assess children’s development, maintaining clear and accurate records. 

• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to meet the needs of individual pupils. 

• Ensure a safe, stimulating, and well-organised learning space. 

 
Requirements: 

• Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or an equivalent relevant degree (essential). 

• Experience working with young children in a school or early years setting. 

• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles. 

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

• A warm, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children. 

• Ability to adapt and respond to the needs of individual learners.
