• Position: Key Stage 1 Class Teacher
• Location: Waltham Forest
• Start Date: ASAP or September 2025
• Interview Date: Immediate
• Salary: M1 - UPS3 (dependent on experience)

 
About the Role:
As a KS1 Class Teacher, you’ll be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to inspire and challenge pupils in Years 1–2. The school offers a supportive environment with an experienced leadership team, enthusiastic pupils, and a commitment to professional development and staff wellbeing.
 
What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with QTS and experience teaching in Key Stage 1
• A reflective practitioner with a passion for inclusive, child-centred education
• Strong subject knowledge and confidence in delivering the KS1 curriculum
• High expectations for behaviour, progress, and pupil engagement
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive attitude

 
What You’ll Be Doing:

• Planning and delivering well-structured lessons that motivate and inspire
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive classroom environment
• Tracking pupil progress and using assessment to inform your teaching
• Supporting pupils of all abilities to achieve their full potential
• Contributing to the wider life of the school, including trips, events, and enrichment opportunities
