Job Description

Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher – Bromley – Summer Term Start
Pertemps Education is looking for a Lower Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join a primary school in Bromley from September. These schools are welcoming and supportive, providing a fantastic environment for both teachers and students to thrive. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated teacher to make a real impact in Year 3 or Year 4 classrooms.

Pay: £170.00-£250.00 per day

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop literacy, numeracy, and key skills in line with the Lower KS2 curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports students’ learning and well-being.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring lessons are accessible and stimulating.
  • Regularly assess student progress using both formative and summative assessment strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to enhance student learning and development.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to stay up to date with teaching best practices.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience or a strong interest in teaching Lower Key Stage 2.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and supporting the development of young learners.
