Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Islington – Immediate Start

In this role, you’ll assist teachers in creating an engaging learning environment, support children individually or in small groups, and contribute to their social and emotional development. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners while working as part of a collaborative team.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual with:
  • A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to meeting the needs of diverse learners.
  • A commitment to promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting the teacher in planning and delivering creative, interactive lessons.
  • Providing tailored support to individual students or small groups, ensuring all learners can thrive.
  • Helping maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation.
  • Preparing resources and organising activities to meet the needs of all students.
  • Supporting students’ personal development, including social and emotional well-being.
