Job Description

We are pleased to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Assurance Coordinator to join our growing National Driver Training team based in Gloucester. This full-time role, Monday to Friday, comes with a competitive salary of £26,500 per year. Standard working hours are 07:30–16:30 or 08:30–17:30.
 
As the  Business Assurance Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating PDT’s quality management, compliance, and assurance activities. This role ensures that business processes, systems, and services comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The position involves planning and facilitating audits, monitoring quality performance, and driving continuous improvement across the organisation.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), in line with ISO standards and industry regulations.
  • Plan, schedule and support internal and external audits, document findings and ensuring effective follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor and report on compliance with regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements, maintaining risk and compliance registers.
  • Track, analyse and present quality performance metrics to management, identifying risks, trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Act as a central point of contact for quality, assurance and compliance. As well as proving training, guidance and support to staff.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, compliance and continuous improvement across the business.
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in similar is advantageous
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within the team
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Software
  • Ability to influence and promote a quality culture across teams.
