Job Description

Position: Bench Joiner

Location: Wolverhampton

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 14:00pm
 
Hourly Wage: £14.50 - £15 per hour
 

Overview: Our esteemed client is currently in search of an experienced Workshop Operative to join their dynamic team.
 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assembling joints.
  • Finishing tasks such as sanding and applying patterns.
  • Priming painting surfaces.
  • Installing hardwood lipping's and rebates.
  • Treating hardwood lipping's with Osmo.
  • Matching, sizing, and cutting veneers.
  • Sanding door faces and veneers.
  • Installing glazing and window beads.
  • Checking specification sheets for required ironmongery.
  • Installing ironmongery.
  • Pre-hanging doors in the workshop prior to dispatch to ensure a perfect fit on site.
  • Familiarizing yourself with upcoming jobs.
  • Identifying and addressing potential discrepancies to prevent manufacturing delays.
  • Regularly reviewing and checking sizes and specifications against the product being worked on to avoid errors early in the process.
