Job Description
Graduate Teaching Assistant – Year 4 Support
Looking to gain real classroom experience before teacher training or a career in education?
*** Graduate Teaching Assistant
*** £90 – £115 per day
*** September 2025 – July 2026
*** School Location: Wolverhampton
*** 1:1 and small group support in Year 4
The Role
You’ll work closely with the Year 4 teaching team, delivering 1:1 and small group interventions in core subjects like reading, writing and maths. You’ll help pupils stay focused, build confidence, and overcome learning barriers—while also assisting with classroom routines and behaviour management.
The Candidate
You’re a graduate with strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine interest in child development. You may be aiming for a PGCE, teacher training or a role in educational psychology. Any previous experience with children—tutoring, mentoring, volunteering—is a real advantage.
The School
This Wolverhampton primary school is supportive, well-structured and proud of its inclusive approach. Staff work closely to provide tailored support, and graduate TAs are given proper guidance, mentoring and responsibility from day one.
If you’re ready to take the first step into education, apply today.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
