The Role:
You’ll work alongside class teachers across KS1 and KS2, delivering short interventions and 1:1 support. You’ll help with lesson preparation, guide pupils during tasks, and reinforce literacy and numeracy skills. You’ll also assist with pastoral routines, keep simple progress notes, and contribute to a calm, purposeful classroom.
 
The Candidate:
You’re a graduate who communicates clearly, builds rapport quickly, and stays organised. You can follow guidance, use initiative, and keep expectations consistent. A genuine interest in working with children is essential.
 
Requirements
• Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Communication – Clear, confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Held already or willing to obtain.
• Desire to work in education/with children – Evident commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
