EYFS Teaching Assistant
 
Are you an EYFS Teaching Assistant prospect looking to gain hands-on experience before teacher training?
 
Could you support children through purposeful play, early phonics and number work across the EYFS curriculum?

*** Support across the EYFS curriculum
 
The Role:
You’ll work with the class teacher to deliver high-quality EYFS provision. You’ll set up continuous provision, run small-group activities, and provide focused 1:1 support. You’ll model routines, encourage language development, and keep brief observation notes to inform next steps.
 
The Candidate:
You’re a graduate with a warm, consistent approach and clear communication. You can follow guidance, use initiative, and engage young children through structured play. You’re organised, reliable, and keen to develop towards teacher training.
 
Requirements
• Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children – Strong interest in EYFS and early child development.
• Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (nursery, mentoring, tutoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
