The Role
You will lead engaging and well-structured morning lessons for a Year 5 class and then provide Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) cover across various year groups in the afternoon. You will deliver creative and inclusive lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities. You will monitor and assess pupil progress and work collaboratively with the Year 5 partner teacher and the wider school team.
The Candidate
You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent Year 5 or KS2 teaching experience. You will be confident teaching the Year 5 curriculum and adapting for different needs, ensuring you are enthusiastic about delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. You are organised, flexible and capable of managing PPA cover across multiple year groups. Must be a strong communicator, team player and ready to collaborate with staff, parents and carers. You are committed to high standards of behaviour, progress and pupil well-being.
