Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and efficient Transport Administrator in the Cannock area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage the day-to-day transport operations, including scheduling and dispatching vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Assist in preparing and processing transport documentation, such as delivery notes and invoices.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any transport-related issues promptly.
  • Assist in route planning and optimisation to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain and update transport databases and filing systems.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Transport Administrator or in a similar logistics role.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected situations.
