Job Description

A secondary school in Sandwell, rated ‘Improving’ by Ofsted, is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a long-term supply basis. The Role
You will deliver Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop a solid understanding of numeracy and problem-solving. The department is well-resourced and committed to improving results and student confidence. You’ll play a central role in supporting academic growth, driving classroom engagement, and helping students gain the qualifications they need to succeed.
The Candidate
We’re seeking a qualified Maths teacher with QTS, although ECTs with strong placement experience are also encouraged to apply. You’ll need a strong command of the curriculum, effective behaviour management skills, and a track record (or clear potential) for inspiring progress in mixed-ability classrooms. A proactive and reflective teaching style will be key to thriving in this role.
