Job Description
A forward-thinking secondary school in Sandwell is looking to appoint a talented and committed English Teacher for a long-term role starting in September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to join a collaborative English department in a supportive school environment.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging English lessons to pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The role includes full teaching responsibilities—planning, marking, and assessment—within a team that values creativity and high standards. You'll play a key part in helping students develop strong literacy and analytical skills while preparing them for GCSEs.
The Candidate
You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about literature and language, possess strong classroom management skills, and have the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities. Both experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply.
