English Teacher – September Start – Walsall
 
We’re supporting a welcoming and well-led secondary school in Walsall in their search for an ambitious and committed English Teacher to join them from September 2025. This long-term assignment offers an exciting opportunity to teach English in a supportive environment where creativity, literacy and critical thinking are truly valued.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on building students’ confidence in reading, writing and analytical thinking. You will be expected to contribute to the wider English curriculum, including assessment, planning and enrichment activities. A genuine enthusiasm for literature and language is essential.
 
The Candidate
We’re looking for a qualified English Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a solid understanding of the UK curriculum. You should bring energy, creativity and strong subject knowledge, along with the ability to differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners. Both experienced teachers and strong ECTs are encouraged to apply.
