• Pay: £175–£250 per day (paid to scale)

 
The Role
You’ll teach English Language and Literature to mixed-ability groups across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering lessons that inspire critical thinking, communication, and a deep appreciation for the written word. You will plan and deliver engaging schemes of work, contribute to the wider curriculum, and support the department in driving high standards of literacy across the school.
 
The Candidate
We are looking for a confident, reflective practitioner with QTS and experience teaching English at secondary level. Strong classroom management, a flair for language, and a track record of helping students achieve strong outcomes are key. ECTs are encouraged to apply and will benefit from a supportive environment where professional development is prioritised.
