We’re working with a well-regarded secondary school in Birmingham seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team on a long-term assignment starting November 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students through literature, language, and creative expression in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The Role
You’ll teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that challenge and motivate students of all abilities. The role involves planning, marking, and preparing students for GCSE examinations, with a focus on building confidence in reading, writing, and communication skills. You’ll also contribute to the department’s collaborative culture, sharing resources and best practice.
 
The Candidate
You’ll be a qualified English Teacher with QTS and a genuine passion for your subject. You should have strong classroom management skills, a creative approach to teaching, and the ability to bring texts to life. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT, you’ll be supported by a department that values innovation and student engagement.
