Job Description
A welcoming Solihull secondary school is looking for a confident and proactive Cover Supervisor to join them from December 2025. This is an excellent opportunity if you enjoy variety, thrive in a busy school environment, and want to build strong classroom experience without the pressure of planning or marking.

- Pay: £500 – £750 per week (depending on assignment and experience)
The Role
You’ll step into lessons across a range of subjects, delivering pre-prepared work and keeping students on track with their learning. Success in this role comes from being calm under pressure, using clear communication, and maintaining a positive classroom environment. Whether you’re covering for one day or a full term, you’ll be an essential part of helping the school run smoothly.
The Candidate
The school are looking for someone who:
- Has strong behaviour management and the confidence to lead a classroom
- Can build quick rapport with students and staff
- Is adaptable, reliable, and able to work across a range of subjects
- Ideally has experience in a school setting (not essential)
- Holds a degree or is an experienced Cover Supervisor, HLTA, Tutor or similar
