The Role
An Outstanding-rated secondary school in Birmingham is seeking an experienced and adaptable Humanities Teacher with a History specialism to join their team from January 2026. This supply role involves planning, delivering, and marking across the RS, Geography, and History curriculum, primarily at KS3 and KS4.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that promote critical thinking, subject knowledge, and strong academic outcomes within a high-performing school environment.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (ECTs welcome to apply)
- Confident teaching History and supporting RS and Geography
- Able to plan, deliver, and assess across multiple Humanities subjects
- Strong in classroom and behaviour management
- Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
