The Role
A secondary school in Solihull is seeking a dedicated and motivated Science Teacher to join their department from February 2026 on a long-term supply basis. The role involves delivering high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting pupils’ understanding and progress across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
You will take responsibility for planning and delivering lessons, assessing pupil progress, and maintaining a positive and purposeful learning environment. This position is suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs looking to secure a consistent placement within a supportive Science department.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or be an ECT)
- Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
- Be confident delivering all three sciences
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
- Be organised, adaptable, and committed to pupil progress
