The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Solihull is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2026 on a supply basis.
The role involves teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding of both physical and human geography. You will support pupils in preparing for GCSE Geography, encouraging analytical thinking, enquiry skills, and real-world application of knowledge.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining a structured and positive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS or be an ECT
- Have experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
- Be confident delivering GCSE Geography content
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Be committed to supporting pupil progress and attainment
