FLT Counterbalance Driver (6pm-6am / 6am-6pm)

Pertemps Leeds Branch have a new & exciting opportunity to share with you.
Our well-established, globally recognised client requires X3 FLT Counterbalance drivers!!! The Main Details: 

• Hourly Rate: £14.41 per hour - Monday to Friday
  (£19.48ph - Working after 10pm Friday until 10pm Sunday)
• Working Pattern: 3, 4 or 5 active Days/Nights - this will always be given in advance shifts are around 10/12 hours.
• Working hours: 6.00am - 6.00pm AND 6.00pm - 6.00am (12 hour shifts)

(You must be flexible with working hours)

If you have a history of driving FLT's, whether it be an in-house licence or if your license has now expired, this could be a great way for you to get back into FLT operations. 

You will be operating a forklift while ensuring efficiency and safety. You will use a counterbalance trucks with a clamp attachment.
Operators are responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, trucks or storage facilities.

FLT duties & responsibilities: 

• Loading and unloading
• Identify damages
• Report shortages
• Report quality deficiencies
• Transport of raw materials to production workstations
• Inspection of machinery and vehicle defects
• Determine the need for repairs
• Keep updated records of inventory
• Produce activity logs
• Comply with company policies and guidelines
• Assist in keeping a safe environment

FLT Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience as forklift operator or similar role
• Attention to detail
• Good knowledge of industrial equipment
• Very good physical condition
• Excellent coordination
• Valid certification / Licences to operate forklifts
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
