Vitalis are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to work in an Integrated Front Door Team in Wakefield Council.
 
Our IFD in Wakefield is the Front Door for referrals into our Early Help Service and Children’s Social Care. We are a co-located service with partners from the Police, Health, Education, Domestic Abuse Services, CVE team and Housing.
Our social work practice with children and families is so important. It can be both incredibly challenging and hugely rewarding. The responsibility or working with families where the decision you make and the power of your influence can shape and change lives, can be difficult. The work will be fast paced due to the tight timescales of MASH work and our expectations for the quality of work is high due to the importance of keeping children safe. You will have access to management advice where required on cases as well as support from colleagues. There will be a limit on the number of cases you hold at any given time.
