Vitalis are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to work in a Fostering team in Leicester City Council.
 
Fulltime vacancy for Supervising Social Worker with a caseload of approved Kinship foster carers.
Working fulltime Mon-Thurs 8:30am to 5pm and Friday 8:30am -4:30pm
The caseload is likely to be a mix of mainstream and kinship foster carers and that some of our kinship carers live a distance away from Leicester, so the role will require travel. Maximum caseload is 22, but average is currently 18
Hybrid working does have the requirement of attending some face-to-face meetings at Halford House and other City venues - the more mandatory meetings are approx. once a fortnight as a guide. Hybrid working using office base in City centre, local venues such as Children's Centres and home-based working.
Role is to supervise and support approved foster carers to meet both the needs of the child in
