Are you an experienced Social Worker passionate about improving outcomes for children and families? NRW People is delighted to offer an exciting temporary role with Pembrokeshire County Council, based at County Hall in Haverfordwest. Starting 27 October 2025, this 12-week position covers a vacancy pending recruitment, offering a chance to make a real impact in a supportive environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver high-quality, child-centred social work, collaborating with colleagues and partner agencies to enhance service delivery.
• Contribute to the development of best practices, bringing fresh ideas and a commitment to reflective practice.
• Work 37 hours weekly, benefiting from a supportive management structure focused on professional growth and staff well-being.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Care Wales, with proven experience in childcare management or children’s services.
• Strong collaboration and innovation skills, with the ability to work full-time (37 hours) and adapt to evolving needs.
• Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Haverfordwest, SA61 1TP.

Essential Requirements:

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Criminal Convictions Declaration (to be submitted with application).
• Confidentiality Agreement (to be submitted with application).
• Pembrokeshire CIFAS Results (required upon offer acceptance).
• Pembrokeshire CIFAS Declaration (required upon offer acceptance).
