Hours: 37 hours per week (07:30–15:30 Mon–Thu, 07:30–15:00 Fri)
Salary: PAYE: £13.17+ per hour | Umbrella: £16.72 per hour
The Role – Get Void Properties Ready for New Tenants

Join the busy Voids Team turning empty council houses back into homes. You’ll be working on vacant properties across the Vale of Glamorgan carrying out full kitchen & bathroom refits and general making-good.

Day-to-Day

• Rip out and install new kitchens (carcasses, worktops, plumbing-in sinks)
• Hang doors, skirting, architrave, boxing-in
• Patch plastering, minor tiling, basic plumbing (isolating stops, replacing taps)
• 2nd-fix joinery & snagging
• Occasional 1st-fix if needed

We Need

• Time-served carpenter OR strong all-round multi-skilled background
• Proven experience of full kitchen fits in domestic properties
• Own basic hand tools (power tools & van provided)
• Full UK driving licence
• Happy to work in void (empty) properties
