Location: Cardiff, United Kingdom (mobile role with some remote working)

Hours: 24 hours per week (flexible shifts, 09:00 - 17:00 core; may include evenings, weekends, bank holidays)
Salary: Competitive PAYE: £14.13+ | Umbrella: £18.30

NRW People is proud to offer a vital Mobile Responder role with Telecare Cardiff, supporting elderly and vulnerable residents across the city. Starting 17 November 2025, this 13-week temporary position (with possible extension) offerssome remote working alongside mobile duties, providing emergency response and peace of mind.

What You’ll Do:

• Respond promptly to emergency alarm calls via mobile phone/tablet, driving safely to customers’ homes to provide practical help, care, or support.
• Install, test, and reprogram Telecare equipment (alarms, pendants), and conduct routine visits to sheltered housing.
• Liaise with next of kin, care agencies, and emergency services during sensitive situations, maintaining accurate digital records.
• Work 24 hours/week (flexible shifts), with occasional unsocial hours, weekends, and bank holidays.

What We’re Looking For:

• A compassionate individual with GCSEs in Maths & English (Grade C+), strong communication skills, and comfort using IT systems/apps.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential – mileage reimbursed).
• Ability to work independently, stay calm in emergencies, and adapt to new technology. Welsh speakers highly desirable.
• Candidates must reside in/near Cardiff for rapid response.
